Cause of crack
1. The surface moisture of the concrete after casting is transpiration and drying. The freshly poured concrete, because the outside temperature is high, and the relative humidity in the air is small, its surface will be transpirational and dry, but the interior is still a plastic body, which causes cracks.
2. When the concrete hardens, the hydration heat causes the temperature difference between the surface and the surface of the concrete. As for the deeper concrete, during the pouring of the upper concrete, it will continue to settle due to its own weight. When the concrete is initially set, but not finally set, it is subject to the connection bolts of steel bars or formwork, cracks will occur when this settlement is blocked.
1. Reasonably control the heating rate inside the concrete. When the concrete is produced, it can be mixed with a certain amount of fly ash to slow down the release rate of hydration heat.
2. Control the temperature of raw materials. Through the selection of cooling pipes inside the concrete structure for circulating water, the hydration heat is released.
However, once the concrete pipe cracks, common remedial measures will be used to seal the cement slurry or low viscosity polymer to prevent water intrusion. If the crack is deep or wide, use pressure grouting skills to repair it.
