The cement pipe has its advantages, but it also has disadvantages. The advantage is that it is easy to repair and install parts. The disadvantage is that it is low in security and easy to be damaged by external factors, affecting farming and traffic; and the external temperature changes greatly. Causes the cement pipe to crack and freeze. The explicit setting method is suitable for the material conveying cement pipe equipment with relatively abrasive materials and the material conveying cement pipe equipment with short service life.
(1) Support for equipment with exposed cement pipes
According to the size of the ground height of the concrete cement culvert pipe above the flat soil, there are four ways to support the concrete cement pipe equipment.
① When the height above the ground is small, the supporting pier is selected;
② When the height above the ground is large, choose a bracket;
③ When the height above the ground is large and the inspection personnel are required to pass, a pipe bridge is selected, and the cement pipe equipment is supported on the supporting pier;
④ When the height above the ground is large and traffic is required, highway bridges and cement pipe equipment are supported on the pier.
(2) Strengthening of supporting cement pipe equipment
Supporting cement pipe equipment with a small span generally does not adopt a strengthening method, and the cement pipe equipment can be directly placed on the fulcrum.

(III) Treatment of the foundation of the buttress and support
Like the purpose of the pipe base treatment of the buried cement pipe equipment, the uneven settlement of the supporting pier and the bracket should be avoided. Generally, the foundation should be set at a depth with a certain foundation strength, and it should not be less than the freezing depth. The support or bridge piers passing through the river should also avoid erosion during the flood period. In the case of fragile ground such as soft soil, filling, marshland, piling methods should be adopted.
Regarding the cement pipe equipment laid along the ground, in order to reduce the engineering volume and cost of the pier, for the better soil, the concrete pier can adopt the following treatment methods: fill the frozen line or the appropriate depth above the depth with a certain foundation strength Sand or gravel and make it reach a certain degree of compactness, prefabricated concrete buttresses are placed on it. Regarding the solid soil section, the concrete buttresses can be directly placed on the solid ground.
It is very important to properly support the exposed cement pipe equipment, to strengthen the supporting cement pipe equipment, and to treat the roots of the piers and supports. This directly affects the service life of the cement pipe. Doing these three things can also save a lot of unnecessary expenses for later inspection and repair, making the later use of cement convenient and simple.
