Permeable bricks are made of inorganic non-metal materials as the main material, and are made by sintering or non-sintering molding processes. They have a large water penetration function.
The mechanical function of the permeable brick is relatively sensitive to the process conditions. The compressive strength and flexural strength increase with the decrease of the particle size of the material, and are proportional to the firing temperature. The participation of bentonite can not only improve the dry strength of the green body, but also improve the mechanical function of the product.
The smaller the particle size of the material, the higher the firing temperature, the better the abrasion resistance; the participation of bentonite can improve the abrasion resistance of permeable bricks ; the greater the molding pressure, the better the abrasion resistance of permeable bricks .
The change of the permeability coefficient of permeable bricks is closely related to the firing temperature, but is not affected by the particle size composition of the material. In the case of narrow particle size distribution, the influence of the molding pressure on the water permeability coefficient is small.
The porosity of the permeable brick decreases with the progress of the firing temperature, and the influence of the molding pressure on it is not obvious.
